At Southampton NHS Treatment Centre we offer free NHS treatments to all patients. You are not required to pay if you are an NHS patient and have been referred for treatment by your GP.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease

A group of inflammatory conditions of the colon and small intestine. The major types of IBD are Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Lower GI (medical)

The lower gastrointestinal – or GI – tract consists of the colon, rectum and anus. Common conditions of this part of the body include irritable bowel syndrome, colorectal cancer and haemorrhoids.

Upper GI incl Dyspepsia

The upper gastrointestinal – or GI – tract consists of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum. Dyspepsia is a common condition of the upper GI tract as it results from impaired digestion.
