Information for patients and visitors

Along with all Independent Sector healthcare providers, Southampton NHS Treatment Centre will be supporting NHS England by providing essential support to NHS Hospitals during the Coronavirus crisis. As a result, unfortunately, we have to cancel the elective services we offer to our patients. If you have an appointment, somebody will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss. Please bear with us whilst our phone lines are extremely busy and we work through speaking to each individual patient.

Under NHS England guidance, if you have developed a high temperature or new continuous cough, please self-isolate for seven days. Click here for more information.

In order to protect our staff and patients in light of the COVID-19 crisis, the below will be implemented with immediate effect (from Thursday 19th March).

Ward visits:

We will be unable to accept any visitors to our inpatient ward. Please contact the centre for updates on your relatives.

Discharge of patients:

We will contact you when the patient is ready for discharge. Please report to reception, via telephone, that you have arrived and then wait in your car for the patient to be brought downstairs and outside by ward staff.

Incoming patients:

If you have an appointment with us somebody will be in touch to discuss. All surgical and pre-operative consultations are cancelled until further notice.
