Our friendly Heads of Departments will be on site to talk about a typical day at Southampton Treatment Centre, as well as what it’s like to work at a Care UK hospital. For newly qualified nurses, there’ll be the opportunity to chat with colleagues who have recently completed their preceptorships with us.

At 1pm our Head of Clinical Services, Madelein Donson, will be delivering a short presentation about how the centre became the only hospital in Hampshire to be rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, including cakes and hot drinks served in reusable takeaway mugs.

Southampton Treatment Centre has been delivering high quality care to patients in and around Southampton for over a decade. We are the only hospital in Hampshire to be rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We regularly score over 99% in the NHS’ Friends and Family test (FFT) and in the latest Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) report achieved a score of 99% for cleanliness.

There are a number of ways to travel to Southampton Treatment Centre, including public transport. The Treatment Centre is located on Levels C and D of the main block of Royal South Hants Hospital

By Train:

From Southampton Central Station: It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the RSH or take one of the above buses or a taxi from just outside the station.

By Car:

Follow directions to RSH Hospital, close to Southampton city centre. Entrance is off Onslow Road. There is plenty of pay-as-you-go on-site parking at the treatment centre.
